Why Stay Here?

Authenticity.

There are other places we can go for beds and a roof over our heads. But we want more than that. If we’re going to “get away,” we want something that pivots our perspective. If we’re going to “take time off,” we want a place that will leave us energized, not enervated.

It’s about a 20-minute drive to Saugatuck or Douglas. It’s less than a 10-minute drive to Lake Michigan and South Haven, just close enough for other restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and some civilization. But just far enough so that you can still distance yourself from it. From the farm, you can paddle or fish the Black River, hike or cross-country ski the Kal-Haven Trail, or bike along any of the rural routes.

By staying here, you also support locally grown, organic produce, including access to your own u-pick blueberries during the season. We reinvest all proceeds from your stay back into the farm to keep turning it into an authentic, productive, peaceful place.
